Top-50 Football Players - October 2013 edition

My monthly database update is done. All values now include all games until October 1st 2013. This time I also made a few minor changes to the algorithm itself. I don't want to go into details, but it results in the top players all losing a few points of Goalimpact. The players in the top 50 all lose something between 2 and 8 points. Therefore I do not report the change in values compared to last month this time. The order was effected a bit, but as you can see it more or less stayed equal.

Only two new players managed to enter new: Theo Walcott and Fernandinho. Guillaume Gillet and Urby Emanuelson dropped out for them.

Fernadinho's development so far. He was so much
undervalued at transfermarkt.de until we joined Manchester City.

Theo Walcott seems undervalued still. I'm not sure why, but my
Twitter timeline is often quite critical to his performance. But
Goalimpact-wise, he is doing a great job.

When I published the September list, I received some critics on my high ranking of Toby Alderweireld, Ajax player at the time. He now moved to Athletico. I'm curious how he will perform there. So far he didn't play.

Update: I forgot to mention that as always only players under the age of 30 were considered.
